Project 366, 240/366 - Puzzles

We had a quiet day indoors doing puzzles and watching movies. The weather was miserable and I've been feeling a little sick the on and off the past few days so a chill day was needed. This one is one from a pack of four that we had to review... giveaway coming later this week too!

Project 366, 239/366 - Ice cream

We had a lovely walk in the sunshine today and afterwards we couldn't resist popping into the ice cream parlour. I had mint choc chip and fudge cone - delicious!

Project 366, 238/366 - Love it or hate it

I was scoffing some Marmite toast and Spartan decides he wants a bit. He gradually gets closer and closer, climbs onto the sofa (which he isn't allowed to do while people are eating) and puts his paw on my leg. Cheeky devil!

Project 366, 237/366 - Delivery

We waited in this morning for 3 deliveries of review items (like buses they all come at once!) and we received this lovely bundle of toys from Kidditoona Toys. We are looking forward to having some fun with them - reviews coming soon!

Project 366, 236/366 - Pedicure

The Mini Mes do play some random games at times. They like the usual schools, shops and post offices but then they like to play secret agents and now... beauticians! They used nearly an entire pot of my rather expensive Body Shop foot cream today giving pedicures. I can't complain too much though, they did my feet too - although I had to pay them £1 each! 

Project 366, 235/366 - Cupcakes

We had a reasonably quiet day today bar baking brownies and coffee and walnut cake... here are some of the cupcakes that we made, the recipe can be found here if you fancy giving them a go!

Project 366, 234/366 - Brave

We spent the afternoon at the library for a themed crafts event. After story time (Brave) the Mini Mes got to create a crown, an arrow book mark and then attempt archery which they were very good at. Here is Minxy in her crown complete with red Merida style hair!

Project 366, 233/366 - Straws

At Lollibop yesterday we received some lovely goody bags from the Bloggers Lounge. One item included was a Robinson's straw kit. The Mini Mes decided to make them today - I've never known them drink so much (just so that they can use them)!

Project 366, 232/366 - Lollibop

We had a lovely day at Lollibop today and took a lot of pictures, but this is probably one of my favourites. Jamster is generally quite afraid of people dressed up but I was pleased he had his picture taken with Moshi Monster Furi.

Project 366, 231/366 - Spartan

We all really missed Spartan when we were away, even if he is mischievous at times! He seemed really pleased to be back home yesterday (he stayed in the local kennels) and we let him upstairs this morning for a cuddle.

Project 366, 230/366 - Back to school

Having popped to Tesco to pick up some salmon for dinner, I came across the back to school range and thought I would pick up a few bits for Minxy. I already purchased Jamster's Spiderman goodies for September and as she is a BIG Hello Kitty fan these were ideal!

Project 366, 229/366 - New life

With rain on the agenda for the following and last day of our family break and a disastrous experience with Paultons, we decided to pack up camp and head home this afternoon. Upon our arrival we found that not only had one of my fish popped out around 50 beautiful yet tiny fry, but Minxy's Triops had hatched and were swimming about. She was so pleased to have a new 'pet' to return home to.

Project 366, 228/366 - Sea Life

Despite REALLY heavy rain for the majority of the day we decided to take a trip to the Sea Life Adventure Park in Weymouth. The majority of the paths were flooded and we ended up completely drenched, but we still had a nice time viewing all of  different sections and completing the trail.

Project 366, 227/366 - Farm fun

We headed to Farmer Palmers today and had a wonderful time watching pig racing, bottle feeding goats and having fun on all of the play equipment. The Mini Mes, the Mr and I  loved the racing cars in particular and spent a lot of time zooming around the track.

Project 366, 226/366 - Home

We are camping in Charmouth for the week (Dorset/North Devon) and our Vango Kasari 800 will be home for the next few days. As you can see it's rather large!

Project 366, 225/366 - Packing

Jamster decided to make packing for our holiday a little more entertaining by piling my clothing on top of his head!

Project 366, 224/366 - Secret Agents

After seeing Jamster crawling across the landing I went to investigate.... They are both secret agents for MI7 searching for Pascal Sauvage and Pik Sen Lim, apparently!

Project 366, 223/366 - Puppy love

Even though he has destroyed the sofa and nibbled at my banister I do love Spartan, our 9 month old Border Collie. We headed into town this morning and we popped into the pet shop while there, so I treated him to a few goodies.

Project 366, 222/366 - Cycling

We didn't do a lot today. The Mini Mes were really tired from the long day out yesterday so we stayed in the majority of the day. We did however pop to the shop, the kids on bikes, to pick up a few bits for lunch. Minxy carried them back in her basket to save me carrying them.

Project 366, 221/366 - Zoo

We visited Twycross Zoo today (you can read more about that here). With beautiful weather, great company and lots of lovely animals to see we had a fantastic day!

This picture is taken from a newer section of the zoo where you can now walk around the entire elephant enclosure and there are a variety of elephant statues and ornaments on display there.
