Reasons to be happy
My reasons to be happy
I am very proud of Minxy who represented her school yesterday in cross country. She did so well bless her, especially as it was her first ever attempt at it and it was agianst around 200+ other children. I'm glad that she is starting to come out of her shell a little and get involved in new activities.

It was parent's evening at the end of last week and both of the Mini Mes are doing so well. Both above target and Minxy has a reading age of almost 11 (she is 8). Very happy with their progress.
I was contacted today by Thomas Sabo and told that I have won a prize this morning... diamonds! I seem to do quite well when it comes to winning jewellery and I'm very much looking forward to some new bling to wear*.
It is my anniversary today with the Mr (also National Steak and Blow Job day!). He has put up with me for 4 years and I am very happy to have him in my life. Love him millions.
*Note to the Mr, this does not mean you don't need to buy me a diamond ring!

Warner Bros DVD review
This time of year is perfect for family snuggles on the sofa with a super size blanket, some treats and a movie so this lovely delivery from Warner Bros was a super, spooky success over half term.
We received a box packed with goodies including sweets, stickers, masks, bubbles and 3 new DVD releases and the Mini Mes were keen to get stuck in.
Tom and Jerry Tricks and TreatsThis DVD has 22 cartoons, including 2 bonus episodes, featuring the famous cat and mouse with their fast and fun packed chases. Tom and Jerry mingle with a variety of eerie characters including werewolves, ghosts and witches in over 2 hours of action! It's more entertaining than terrifying seeing what mischief the terrible duo get up to as it's suitable for the entire family (rated Universal). At only £5.99 it's a great value disc to have, especially for rainy and duvet days.
Scooby-Doo Big Top
In this movie Scooby-Doo and chums go undercover at a travelling circus to solve their mystery. The big top is being pestered by werewolves so the gang use their puzzle solving skills to find out who's causing the trouble. This film is 75 minutes long, includes 3 bonus episodes and is rated PG as it may be a bit scary for very little ones. It is however comical in places and fun to follow their adventures - The Mini Mes really enjoyed it
With this DVD comes UltraVioletTM which enables you to stream and download instantly and watch your movie on various devices including your phone.
Ben 10: Destroy all aliens
Ben Tennyson is stuck in alien form after his Omnitrix malfunctions while exploring the galaxy with Tetrax and with a mechamorph warrior on the loose his life is in danger. With great computer generated graphics this Cartoon Network favourite is bound to please all little fans... Jamster was completely absorbed!
You can purchase all of these Warner Bros DVDs from Amazon and I feel that they would make the perfect stocking fillers for Christmas!
*We received this goodie box from Warner Bros for the purpose of this review. The opinions given are honest and our own*

Reasons to be happy
My reasons to be happy
Despite another week of illness and two days off school for the Mini Mes, I have lots of reasons to be cheerful!
On Monday I was contacted by the lovely Tara from over at Sticky Fingers to let me know that I had won a competition on her blog. The competition was based on photography and part of the Gallery link up with the theme Fitness and my entry was selected to win the first prize.... £200 of Sweaty Betty vouchers, £50 of high street vouchers, some fitness books and 2 crates of drinks from Coca Cola - WOW!! I was thrilled and I can't wait to receive my goodies. You can view my winning entry here.
It was fantastic to attend parents evening last Thursday night and to hear about how well the Mini Mes are getting on. Both are achieving above expectations for their age and progressing well.
Proud mummy moment!
My next reason to smile is my Mr. He is such an awesome man and although I feel he knows that he is appreciated and loved dearly it's nice to pop it down on paper (or here) from time to time. He truly is fantastic for taking on the Mini Mes and me (not that I'm hard work or demanding *cough*) over the past 3 and a half years and treating them as if there were his own. He never moans and he doesn't even suffer from man flu! He is my rock and I would love to spend my life with him.
What reasons to you have to be cheerful this week?
