The housing market is a volatile place where it is difficult to predict trends and a local school can be more important that the number of bedrooms in the property. If you are thinking of selling your house you will want to ensure you get at least the amount you paid for it in the first place. However, depending on the market this can be a tall order. However, there aremeasures you can take which are sure to add value to your home. Not all of the following suggestions are cheap fixes but they are a guarantee of justifiably pushing up the price of your property without detracting potential buyers.

WIN A Voucher To Spend At The Home Decor Company
The Home Decor Company is a family run business based within England that sells lots of lovely finishing touches for your home, whether you prefer a traditional style or something more modern.
The website is incredibly easy to navigate and you can shop via the available categories which include clocks, photo frames, ornaments and cushions (plus many more) or by selecting the room that you want to purchase a product for. It doesn't get much easier than that!
They accept a variety of bank cards and Paypal (the method I like to use most online for added security) so shopping is quick and straight forward too - the best way to be.
Why not pick up a few Christmas gifts now or treat yourself!

My View Right Now
The Mini Mes have coped unbelievably well with the recent upheaval for our home renovation. Children seem to adapt to changes, new situations and new people with ease don't they? They just go with the flow. They can sense that it's better to accept what's happening and they just get on with it. They don't feel the need to moan or worry (as us adults often do) as they know everything will be sorted and back to normal in no time.
They are carefree and that's the best way to be!

They have been eating dinner from trays each day, getting up a lot earlier and getting ready for the day before the workmen arrive. They have been incredibly organised and positive despite the dust

Yankee Candle Indian Summer Collection *WIN*
It's so lovely returning home after a long day out to the inviting scent of candles. Not only can the aroma be really relaxing and help you to chill after a stressful shift, but they also hide any smells from pets and cooking which is always handy, especially when guests call by.
Yankee Candle are soon to launch their 'Indian Summer: Votive Happiness' boxes which contain 4 votive candles, and being obsessed with their Vanilla Cupcake candle already I was keen to give these a go before their release. They also bring a little of summer into your home even when the weather isn't on your side which certainly cheers me up!
The new Indian Summer fragrances include Wild Fig, Amber Moon, Ginger Dusk and Honey Glow and the set of 4 sampler candles arrive in a pretty presentation box, making them a great gift solution.

A Mini Makeover - Savvy Shopping
I've always headed straight to the big department and DIY stores when it comes to home improvements, but I was recently set a challenge by Debt Free Direct to see how the homeware products from my local supermarket compare to the big brands when it comes to price and quality.
Although we are having a new bathroom fitted in late June, it has been looking a little dull of late (especially with the horrendous wallpaper which I'm desperate to get rid of) so a mini makeover was in order. After all, nobody likes guests visiting when rooms are rather uninviting!
I decided to swap the plain plastic hand wash bottle for a shiny Disco Ball Dispenser (£8) and Disco Ball Soap Dish (£5), adding my favourite Rockstar Lush soap in there too to provide some variety. The dispenser is fairly heavy weight and the lid is easy to unscrew to add your hand cleaning liquid
