Tefal Fresh Express

I'd seen the adverts for this appliance and I wondered if it would save me time and prevent cut/grated/chopped fingers - I'm rather clumsy I'll admit, plus I love having the latest gadgets and gizmos!

I contacted Tefal and I had a Fresh Express sent to me to test within a few days. It was easy to assemble with only a few pieces clicking together ready for action and the varied attachments for grating, slicing and shredding your fruit and veg are funky, bright colours.

I was impressed. It's reasonably compact and has a retractable cord so it's easy to store plus the machine seemed to do it's job well. It saved teary eyes from onion and reduced meal preparation time considerably - it was great to pop the food in, switch it on and watch the pieces drop out into a pot ready to use with ease. All the pieces were identical in shape and size which I rarely achieve!

Washing all the bits after was a bit more time consuming than cleaning a chopping board and a single knife. Was it worth it? I would say yes and I imagine that a lot of people would find this a handy tool to have at home.

For more info or to purchase one head to Tefal

I requested a Tefal Fresh Express to hire and was not sent one free of charge for reviewing purposes. I choose to review the product myself and the opinions are honest and my own.

Project 366, 150/366 - Readathon

My daughter has a subscription to Animals and You magazine and the latest edition has some information on the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust and how they try to help orphaned animals. Minxy and her love of animals, hence the animal themed subscription, had asked to sell lemonade to raise money to help the charity (too much looney tunes and ICarly maybe) which I said wasn't really possible. She then suggested a sponsored read - great idea! She loves reading so between us we thought that reading 50 books in 50 days would be the best option.

We took this picture this evening to use as her image for her just giving sponsor page ready for her readathon to begin on 1st June.

If you would like to sponsor her please visit www.justgiving.com/chloesreadathon - she and I would really appreciate your support.
