My Christmas Gift Giveaway is back! 30 days, 30+ fantastic prizes.

It's a little thank you from myself to my followers for all of your support throughout the year which I really appreciate. It's a great way to win a treat for yourself or to put away a little something for a loved one to wrap up this December and pop under the tree.

Each day throughout November there will be a new giveaway, all of which will end on 10th December 2014 which gives you plenty of time to enter and plenty of time for me to arrange the postage of prizes in time for Christmas.

Winter Warmers from Whittard

They say the way to a mans heart is through his stomach but that's pretty much the way to get to mine too! I love fine food and drink so I was thrilled to receive a hamper of delectable delights from Whittard last week to celebrate National Chocolate Week. Not only were they ideal for the occasion but with it being autumn, and with winter on the way, hot chocolates and marshmallows are great to enjoy in the evenings by the fire to warm you up.

A weekend in Norfolk

 

 

This picture sums up our weekend away, perfectly.

 

We travelled for a few hours north in the car to Feather Down Farm for a relaxing break, glamping.

If you aren't keen on the idea of popping up a tent in the middle of a field but like the thought of beautiful scenery in a peaceful environment this is the perfect get-away.

The tent is already assembled for your arrival, it has proper beds and wooden flooring.

It's cosy and comfortable with the natural world on your doorstep.

 

Sitting by the wood burning stove Saturday night, playing cards by candlelight and having a few drinks with the Mr was lovely.

I hadn't felt so stress-free in quite a while and getting back to basics with no technology in site makes you appreciate the important things in life, like good company.

8pm - The Gallery

Evenings in this house vary quite a bit depending upon the day of the week....

Mondays we are usually saying our goodbyes and just leaving my Grans house after a family catch up - with lots of chocolate and biscuits being scoffed.

Tuesdays and Thursdays the Mini Mes are fast asleep and the Mr and I are just settling down to watch a movie with a glass of wine or two.

Wednesdays and some Fridays and Saturdays the Mini Mes go to their dads house for the night. The Mr and I are usually enjoying a meal out, a trip to the pub to play darts and catch up with family (hmmm we are starting to sound like alcoholics!) or a visit to the cinema to watch the latest release.

Sunday the Mini Mes are always tucked up, fast asleep ready for school in the morning and I'm usually soaking in the tub after a busy weekend.

I love how peaceful the Mini Mes look when they are fast asleep. Jamster often ends up with his feet on his pillow surrounded by his bears and Minxy is usually muttering something between snores!

My Monday Me

Weight loss
I've weighed myself this morning and I've lost 1lb! Only a small amount but I didn't put on or stay the same, a loss is a loss *woop woop*.

Hen night
Saturday night I headed to a local chinese buffet called Mandarin for a delicious meal followed by a cocktail bar and pub. I decided to be the driver so I didn't drink all night but I still had a fab time with the bride to be, her family and friends as well as my sister, mum and sister-in-law-to-be-one-day. The Mr was out with the stag do of the same couple and they went dog racing before we met back up later in the eve. I can't wait for the wedding reception next week... I just need to find a dress!
