Not only can they wear them for their parties but they can go in the dress up boxes for rainy day play too so they will get plenty of use over the years to come.

Easter Treats From Hotel Chocolat

With the daffodils popping up in the garden and lambs being born in the nearby farms it's a sure sign that Easter is on the way. 

Hotel Chocolat have a wonderful collection of gifts this year and we received the Easter Goody Bag to put to the test. It contains a selection of luxury products that are ideal for sharing with your loved ones, although you may want to hide them away and keep them all to yourself as they really are so indulgent and so beautifully presented!

The bag of 8 Raspberry Egglets are darker chocolate treats with a seriously sour centre. They are wrapped in gold foil for an added touch of elegance and they are so moreish. These were probably my favourite in the set.

Next there is the Bunny Selector pack - 6 40% milk bunnies oozing with runny caramel. They are nice and chunky in size so just the one would satisfy a sweet tooth. Each complete with a bow tie they are in a class of their own.

This little trio of cute rabbits come individually wrapped within a card box for ultimate freshness. The milk chocolate is so rich and creamy too - they would be great for hunts this Easter.

DC Super Hero Girls

When you think of Super Heroes it's more than likely Spider-Man, Batman or Thor spring to mind - strong male characters, but it's important not to forget the women too. They can be equally as powerful despite not often getting a mention, and with it being International Women's Day earlier this week there is no better time to introduce DC Super Hero Girls!

If your kids are looking for action-packed girl power, look no further. DC Entertainment’s latest animated series features a dynamic group of Super Heroes on their journey of discovering the power of their unique abilities and friendships. The characters are really dynamic, from strong and fearless to edgy and fun so it's definitely worth a watch.

Book Themed Days Out and Activities

The Mini Mes have always had a large collection of books and although they have recently given a lot of their stories to younger relatives, friends and charities to enjoy, they still have their all time favourites tucked away and a selection of new reads ready to delve into. 

Jamster is really into Tom Gates at the moment whereas Minxy is working her way through the Dork Diaries. I think having reading as part of their bedtime routine ever since they were babies has really helped as they often pick up a paperback without being prompted. Something which I love to see.
