Random Acts Of Kindness - How You Can Receive A Gift During 2016

For the past few years I've chosen 5 friends or family members on 1st January to send a gift to as a random act of kindness. This year I'm reaching out to my followers!

How to nominate

If you would like the chance to receive a surprise gift at some point during 2016, or if would like to nominate somebody else to be sent one, please leave a comment below with your resolutions, hopes, plans or motivational quotes and I may be in touch with you shortly. Alternatively, on my Facebook page.

I wish you love, luck and happiness and thank you for your ongoing support with my blog.
I look forward to sharing our family adventures again with you this year.

A Gift From Debenhams

The beginning of the year didn't go well for me with a blue lighted ambulance visit to A&E due to heart and chest problems followed by several weeks with a zimmer-frame combined with handfuls of medication. It was lovely to know that Emily from Family Four Fun had been thinking of me during this difficult time and nominated me in the Debenhams' Random Acts of Kindness Campaign.
The campaign is like a daisy chain of friends where each can select another person to send a piece of jewellery to from the collection at Debenhams to make them feel special - such a nice idea!

Emily said ‘Emma has had a rough time with her health since the start of the year and needs brightening up. Having similar aged children I love reading about her family’s outings and crafts - she has supported me on my blogging journey and I hope this cheers her up whilst she gets her sexy back!’...

...And I received a beautiful bracelet in the post from Debenhams to cheer me up!

Reasons to be happy

You're not from round here

My reasons to be happy

Half term is almost here random butt shuffle dance across the lounge which means a week off school and a week off work too. We have tickets to the Gruffalo's Child and lots of baking and craft activities on the agenda although to be honest I'm just looking forward to a lay in each morning and spending time with the Mini Mes!

We have our bedroom being decorated finally so it is going to be looking very beautiful, very soon. New carpet is being fitted on Saturday and I have this lush new bed arriving the following week...

... yes it has a tv in it! I absolutely love it and have many times walked past the bed shop drooling at the site of it. We have a new memory mattress to go with it too. Comfort here we come!!

My mum is my third reason to be happy this week. She plods along through life doing so much for others and she is very loving and kind. I've actually done a random act of kindness today and sent her some flowers to ensure she knows I love her.

What reasons to you have to be cheerful this week?

Random acts of kindness

How special do you feel when you receive an unexpected gift in the post? Although it happens rarely, it is so nice to know that someone is thinking of you and has taken the time to make/buy/send you something to put a smile on your face.

Random acts of kindness is all about selflessness to cheer others up; make them feel appreciated or loved, let them know you are thinking of them or just because they are a great person and deserve a surprise treat!

Clara began this blog hop after receiving help on her new home as she wanted to be thoughtful towards others as they had been towards her. I wanted to get involved too as I love to brighten peoples day and at some point this year I will be receiving something from the lovely Louise to brighten mine.

During 2013 I will be sending a gift to each of the first 6 people that comment on this post. It could be something made, written or purchased (literally anything) but if you do add your name below you must promise to blog and to send on gifts to a number of people too. Pay the kindness forward.

If you are one of the first 6 to respond please can you email your address details to emma@theminimesandme.com - thank you!

If/when you blog about Random acts of kindness you can link your post up below in the blog hop.

I look forward to putting smiles on faces already...
