Learning Through (messy) Play

As the weather was so beautiful over the weekend I managed to get a lot of jobs done around the house, including a load of washing being hung on the line for the first time this year, while the Mini Mes took advantage of their new 'tuff spot' on the patio.

They are at the age where they don't need to be watched 24/7 and I can trust them to play together while I just observe from the kitchen cook and clean in peace.

We're going on a bear hunt...

BEARS...
Rather cute bears though!

To make our dog walking a little more exciting we decided to take some inspiration from some books this week and we first chose to make our plod across the fields into a bear hunt!

Inspired by 'We're going on a bear hunt' by Michael Rosen.

Project 366, 165/366 - Walkies

The Mr was a busy bee this morning so instead of his usual walk with the poochie I took him out for a play instead. I thoroughly enjoyed some wellies, mud and fresh air time.

Project 366, 158/366 - Swimming lessons

Spartan is a bit of a wimp when it comes to getting wet! We have gradually introduced him to rain and puddles and now deeper water. He walks in so slowly to get his ball but he is finally beginning to build his confidence.
